I know I have not written in a while so I thought I would take a sec before getting the morning kicked off and post someting.  This weekend my friend Ellen took me shopping.  Thanks a million Ellen. I didn’t realize how much I need more female friends especially female friends, who know how to shop for cloths.  I have never had a lot of know-how when picking out cloths, that green camouflage shorts and the pink button down shirt I attempted to leave the house in when i was 15 --- well, that really says it all, doesn’t it. 

Saturday evening was spent running around with Torgney from the comic shop, to the coffee shop, to Best Buy.  Torgney was playing WOW from the coffee shop and I was playing on twitter, just to give you some level of our geektum.  We got to talk about our mutual love for waffles, someone finally appreciated my peanut butter and jelly waffle idea.  It was a lot of fun. 

Sunday was spent being lazy and playing with the dog.  I watched Jumper on pay-per-view, ppv always seems like a good idea until the bill comes.  I also ended up watching Fried Green Tomatoes on showtime.  Jumpers was pretty good i liked to concept but I’m not sure I totally got why the “bad guys” wanted to kill them so much. But oh well.  FGT is always good not that I always admit to watching it.  But that is one of those movies that if I flip by and see it on I end up watching most of it.  (ok take your best shot big E)

Sunday night was spent eating way to much food from this Chinese Buffet.  I have never seen so may peopling eating crab legs, big people, little people, kids all shapes and sizes with plates full of crabs and cracking and basting with button.  Not being a crab leg fan, I felt like I was crashing some group mutilation party.  I have also decided I don’t like snails and I don’t like watching people eat snails.  Oh well, this one one of those night I think my 18.50 would have been better spent on take out.

Quick TV update, Doctor Who - pretty good can’t wait to see the other 2 parts.  Weeds—was very much a “set up” story so I’m guessing its going to pick up next week.  The Secrete Diary of a Call Girl - this has quickly became my new favorite show.  I was not much for a fan the first week or two but this is replacing Weeds for the number one spot.  I have also been watching Generation Kill on HBO which I am enjoying it’s just a lot to absorbed in 75 min.  I almost forgot, The Dark Knight—fantastic move, made up for Wanted (Will if your reading this hurry up and get my book back to me heheh).

My neighbor Dave just left for work which means it must be 7:30 or time for me jump in the shower.
