This is the part that really really sucks, I like what Ralph Nader has to say and what he stands for. However, for all the effort and and all the good intentions he had done noting but harm this nation. I can’t even finish a complete thought because I am so incredibly pissed off. The 2000 election (the year I lost my political faith) should have provided a wake up call for Mr. Nader. You were responsible for the loss in FL the loss to Bush and in part responsible for the spiraling events that followed. You are going to fuck this country up worse than it is now.

Tim Russert, the host of M.T.P., did point out to Mr. Nader that George W. Bush won in Florida with a little more than 500 votes, as Mr. Nader siphoned more than 97,000 away from Mr. Gore, a numerical factor that left many Democrats embittered.
“Well, you know his being on the Green Party prevented Al Gore from being the greenest president we’ve ever had,” Mrs. Clinton said. “And I think that’s really unfortunate.”
I think that says it all.

ou kinda forgot something, though, in linking my article: I support Ralph Nader’s right to campaign for President, and do not feel at all that he cost the Democrats anything...they lost 2000 and 2004 on their own without needing any help.
Besides, if Obama is as much the absolute truth as some Dems say he is, and the Repubs are in such a deep tank, then why should it matter if Nader is in the race, anyway??
Sorry, PD, but don’t lump me with the rest of the Nader bashers.

Hey thanks you for the comment. If you like I will remove the link from the post, I wanted to provide examples of others writing on the same issue. I do like the idea of debate however I will remove the link respectfully if you so desire.
I do find I am very conflicted on this issue. I love the idea of what the man stands for. I do support the idea of a 3rd party. However with that 3rd part comes ramifications and we saw those in 2000.

After reading back over the comment from earlier today. I was never my intention to suggest that Ralph Nader should not be allowed to run. I think Ralph Nader should do the honorable thing and not run.
Also after 24 hours to consider my feeling I don’t think anyone will be foolish enough to vote for him this time around.
