I suspect they just pressure wash off the front of the bus and put it back into service, like they do here…

1) Retired? Not so much, we like to take them to a protected area, it’s very similar to a zoo. We put them back in it’s natural habitat in the heart of the uptown circuit, so it can frolic with all the other buses!
2) Records? No, the police stopped taking our calls years ago. Sally writes it on her steno pad.
2a) Oddly, yes, there have been multiple offenses by several buses. Perhaps we should re-think our zoo relocation program.
3) To honor the dead, at dusk, the driver will initiate the animatronic performance of Michael Jackson’s Thriller.
4) In a word, we don’t. Deal with it.
5) On average, 10-12 passengers are hit, majority only sustaining injuries on par with a lightning strike. The number of squirrels on the other hand, is unfathomable.
