The Stonewall riots were a series of violent conflicts between New York City police officers and groups of gay and transgender people that began during the early morning of June 28, 1969, and lasted several days. Also called the Stonewall Rebellion or simply Stonewall, the clash was a watershed for the worldwide gay rights movement, as gay and transgender people had never before acted together in such large numbers to forcibly resist police.

I had a rather quiet weekend.  It was hot as hell and I really just wanted to stay inside in the ac.  I did re-read The Catcher in the Rye pretty much cover to cover.  I had forgotten just how good this novel is.  It’s funny how similar corporate life is to the high school environment in the book.  I’m not sure that say a lot for us as adults.

Ok I know it’s silly but I just discovered answer tones.  If your unlike me until a few hours ago one can replace the sound which a callers hears (rather than rings) with music or any number of things.  Ok I know it’s a bit hight schoolish but it’s fun.  They even provide a web interface to manage what callers here what sounds.  I am such a geek !!
